About Piano Beginnings
Piano Beginnings is a dynamic program where students ages 4-8 learn to play the piano while singing and having fun in a small group setting. This three-year program is designed to make piano learning enjoyable and effective, providing a strong foundation in music for young learners.

Your Role as a Teacher
As a teacher at Piano Beginnings, you will:

Lead 55-minute weekly classes, ensuring each session is fun, engaging, and educational.

Guide students through the three levels of the program: Melody (right hand with correct fingering), Harmony (hands separately and together), and Improvisation (hands together and note reading).

Encourage students to practice five times a week for 5-10 minutes each day with adult assistance.

Foster a love for music and piano playing in young children through interactive and enjoyable lessons.

Use a variety of teaching methods to introduce students to singing, technique, composition, theory, ear training, solfège, and more.

Create a positive and supportive classroom environment where each child feels encouraged and motivated to learn.
Requirements

A background in music education, piano instruction, or a related field.

Understanding of the fundamentals of music theory and intermediate piano playing skills.

Experience working with young children and a passion for teaching piano.
