About Music Beginnings

Music Beginnings is our Parent-Child Piano Beginnings class, designed for children ages 0-4 and their parents. Our classes offer an engaging and interactive environment where families explore music, singing, theory, instruments, and piano fundamentals together.

Why Teach with Us?

• Innovative Teaching Model: Our classes are structured to include both parents and children, creating a dynamic and supportive learning atmosphere. As a teacher, you'll facilitate a shared musical journey, fostering a love for music in both the children and their caregivers.

• Small Group Setting: With a maximum of 6 families per class, you'll be able to provide personalized attention and adapt your teaching to meet the needs of each family.

• Flexible Schedule: Classes are held once a week for 50 minutes, providing a manageable and consistent teaching schedule. Our current class is on Mondays from 3:00-3:50 PM.

• Supportive Community: Join a team of like-minded educators who are dedicated to making a positive impact through music education.

Your Role as a Teacher

As a Music Beginnings instructor, you will:

• Lead engaging and interactive music classes that incorporate singing, musical theory, instruments, and piano fundamentals.

• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment where families feel comfortable participating and exploring music together.

• Encourage at-home practice while providing resources and support to parents to enhance their child's musical journey.

• Adapt lessons to suit the varying developmental stages of children ages 0-4.

Requirements

• Natural, pleasant singing voice​

• Ability to sing in tune and sing harmony​

• Good sense of rhythm
